Bali is undoubtedly one of the world's most well-known treasures. The mystical island is rich in culture and never fails to welcome visitors with warm and gracious smiles. Friendly faces abound among the locals, one of the many reasons that Bali has become the island paradise destination for tourists from all over the world. Each visitor leaves the island with a new-found appreciation for Bali's unique heritage and culture.
Bali is a tourist hotspot with prices that reflect its status as one of the world's premiere destinations. Thus, living expenses in Bali are higher compared to other cities located in Java Island. Most shops, retail outlets and restaurants here accept U.S. dollars as well as the local Indonesian Rupiah. Students in Bali will be afforded 'International Tourist' status and can enjoy living as a tourist.
