Limkokwing Sarawak is proud to announce another step in its commitment to continual improvement and customer service with the certification of its Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2008 standard.
Limkokwing Sarawak is one of 12 Limkokwing University campuses located in the three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa. It forms an important component of the Global University Campus programme where Limkokwing students from 150 countries traverse the world to conduct their academic research or complete their studies at a Limkokwing campus of their choice.
Issued on 20 July 2015, Limkokwing Sarawak received the ISO 9001:2008 certification for ‘Provision of Tertiary Educational Programmes’ from Guardian Independent Certification Limited.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard sets out the criteria for a quality management system and it is the most widely used and internationally-recognised framework for good quality management in an organisation.
Limkokwing Sarawak underwent a stringent evaluation process that included quality management system development, documentation review, gap analysis, internal audits, pre-assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective action and eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.
Limkokwing Sarawak believes that its decision to become ISO 9001:2008 certified is a proactive one that demonstrates its commitment to providing quality services for its students.
