Synopsis

• Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) has been one of the widely used software in the construction industry as a drafting tool, be it in Architectural, Interior Design, Engineering, Robotic fields, etc.
• By mastering basic skills in drawing 3D presentation drawings via CADD, it would create a better visual understanding of the presented ideas / proposals.
• In some instance, the 3D presentation of drawings would enhance the designer in identifying potential enhancements / problems during design stage, while at the same time provide visual aid of the finished product as in design.

Outcome

• Express own design work through three-dimensional representation using AutoCAD 2006.
• Demonstrate competence in communication of built form that developed from a basic 3D (three Dimensional) drafting package.
• To extend their knowledge in the areas of communication and presentation techniques.
