Graduating students from different faculties showcased their final projects during an exhibition on 13 and 14 July 2017 at the Branding Gallery of Limkokwing University.

The exhibition featured best projects from graduate programmes under the Faculty of Design Innovation, Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Fashion and Lifestyle Creativity, Faculty of Multimedia Creativity as well as Sound and Music Design Academy.

Creative works such as short films, music videos, advertising campaigns and concepts, portfolio websites and more were displayed at the exhibition.

Programme Leader and Lecturer for Graphic Design Mr. Alaa Shasheet from Syria said he was impressed by the quality of work done by the students.

“We have students from around the world, so projects are always interestingly different. The quality of the work is up to the standards of the industry. All students here are more than ready to work in the real world, because during their studies they intern at reputable companies and we receive positive feedback on their performance. They also get involved with industrial projects which is very essential in our curriculum and education system,” Alaa commented.

Kenshveeranjit Kaur A/P Santokh Singh from Malaysia, studying Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting, explained that her group’s final project tested their skills in innovation and gave them exposure to industry practices.

“Throughout our studies at Limkokwing University we have experienced growth in a lot of areas, from a cultural point of view to instilling us with much needed skills to kick-start our career,” Kenshveeranjit added.

Bachelor of Graphic Design student Reham Jamal from Egypt said that before joining Limkokwing University she did not have any graphic design skills, but now she is confident that she is going to graduate with the necessary skills to apply for a job anywhere in the world.

Limkokwing University’s creative approach to education integrates industry practices into its curriculum preparing students for their careers before they graduate.

Over 1,000 students are expected to graduate tomorrow at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).
