Khuth Manita from Cambodia

Khuth Manita transferred to Limkokwing University in 2015 as a global exchange student from Limkokwing Cambodia.

During her studies at Limkokwing University Cyberjaya, she fell in love with Malaysia and decided to pursue her Bachelor Degree of Business in Entrepreneurship here.

Choosing Limkokwing University

“Limkokwing University has transformed my life a lot,” she said.

“I discovered that Limkokwing University provides students with the best in quality education, environment, innovation and creativity.”

She added that she has made more friends from different countries since she joined as a member of the University’s International Student Ambassador.

Studying in Malaysia

“I wanted to explore my life more than just my home country,” she said. “I chose Malaysia because of the difference in environment, people and culture.”

She wanted to learn Malaysian culture because it is a multicultural country with different races living together in harmony. For her, Malaysia offers a unique multicultural experience. 

“Malaysia is completely different from my home country,” she added. ”Here, the world is in one place.

Becoming a Student Ambassador

“I was quite shy when I first came to Malaysia,” she added. “I usually stayed away from other people.”

When she became a student ambassador at Limkokwing University, she learned to become more sociable.

As a student ambassador, Manita’s would meet and greet new students as part of the University’s orientation programme. Her role as ambassador is to serve the interest of fellow students, provide course briefing and guide newcomers around the campus facilities. 

She has also served as organising committee for the University’s cultural festivals, fund-raising activities and charity projects. Her other duties include administrative assistants, masters-of-ceremonies researchers and performers.

Her work as a student ambassador included organising orientation programmes for new students, member of the ‘Heal The World’ initiative, ‘Limkokwing Cultural Festival’ committee members and various student related activities within and outside the campus.

Life Transformed

“Being a Limkokwing University student ambassador helped to break my fear of meeting people and made me more confident,” she added. ”Now I have more friends with people from around the world.”

“The University gave me a chance to improve my skill and talents,” she said.

“I felt at home with the people from Limkokwing University,” she added. “They never let me down and would always cheer me up.”
