Limkokwing University was recently certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant. Limkokwing’s ISO 9001:2008 compliancy demonstrates that the University has set policies, processes and procedures in place to meet its students’ requirements.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard sets out the criteria for a quality management system and it is the most widely used and internationally-recognised framework for good quality management in an organisation.
Issued on 24 June, the University’s ISO certification was for ‘Provision of Tertiary Educational Programmes’, and the accreditation was done by the Guardian Independent Certification Limited.
To become certlimkokwing_university_receives_iso_9001_2008_certificationified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant, Limkokwing University underwent an extensive evaluation process that included quality management, management documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard. Finally, extensive audit was carried out on 22 May 2015 to enable the University to receive the certification.
Compliance with ISO 9001:2008 recognises that Limkokwing University’s policies, practices and procedures are of a consistent quality in the services the University provide to its customers, the international student population from over 150 nations.
