Malaysia is in the unique position of being able to draw upon the multicultural society and elements of accessories design from the Indian, Malay and Chinese communities. This uniqueness will be the element that’s triggered the student’s interest towards accessories design. The design produce will be totally different from global design but still maintain Malaysian identity as foundation. This is an added advantage that will interest the global market. Knowledge on metal, fabric and leather will make it limitless for the graduates to explore the design possibilities.
The Accessories Design program route represents a challenging academic experience aimed a raising students’ visual awareness, critical abilities and aesthetic sensibilities. This programme will give graduates the opportunity towards understanding accessories and design aspect. This includes the thinking process, idea development, material studies and its usage.

Pass an ‘O’ Level or an equivalent qualification from a recognition institution by the local Ministry of Education.
