This programme will direct students to the development and use of multimedia systems. Students are exposed and trained in the relevant programming skills with use of multimedia applications:
- Theoretical & Technical: understanding the role of communication technology & tools as applied to distributed multimedia;
- Programming Skills: developing skills and in–depth understanding of the use of multimedia tools (application) with programming languages for Internet and World Wide Web applications;
- Design: to appreciate the importance of interactive design in computer programming.

- STPM/A Level with minimum 2 principals; OR
- Pass Foundation/Pre-University/Matriculation in related field and pass SPM/SPVM with 5 credits including English and Mathematics (excluding other language, religious and moral studies); OR
- Pass Diploma in related field; OR
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
Students with a recognized Diploma in related field will be given advanced standing into the Degree Programme.

Pass an ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the local Ministry of Education.
Advanced Standing:
- Pass a Foundation (minimum of 1 year), Pre-University or Matriculation programme in a related field or discipline or any other equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the local Ministry of Education; or
- Pass a Diploma programme (minimum at Year 1 or Year 2) in a related field or discipline or any other equivalent qualification from an institution recognised by the local Ministry of Education; and
- In the instance of the above, credit transfers can be awarded by the Head of School or Programme Leaders based on individual cases through the inspection of results transcripts and course details (curriculum) in the related field or discipline from an institution recognised by the local Ministry of Education.
