The artistes interpreted the exhibition’s theme in various captivating ways, from representations of societal problems by Randy Alcala Escobar‘s drawings titled ‘Breathe’ to a deeper interpretation of human emotions through Sebastian Guzman Nunez’s paintings titled ‘Faith’, showing coexistence and tolerance.

Beside the photography and paintings, the exhibition also included other art modals, such as an audio visual presentation of projection mapping by Erick Alcala, and tantalizing guitar play by Carlos Enrique Rey Romero, which fused traditional Venezuelan rhythms with electronic music.

The artistes said they hoped to capture the attention of the audience with their art. They described their paintings as a way to express themselves and share a message with their audience.

“Art is criticism. It’s about what’s going on in the world & looking beyond our comfort zones,” said David Jesus Granadillo Di Gravia, whose photo presentation showed everyday life around Malaysia, titled ‘Living Malaysia’.
