Limkokwing produces official theme song and music video for World Urban Forum 2018
Limkokwing University was given the privilege to produce the theme song and music video for the 9th World Urban Forum held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 8 February 2018.
Themed “Cities 2030, Cities for All: Implementing the New Urban Agenda” this year’s forum focused on the New Urban Agenda as a tool and accelerator for achieving Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
“It is my sincere hope that the foreign delegates who came from all over the world to identify and commit to the implementation of concrete solutions for the transformative commitments made in the New Urban Agenda, explore Kuala Lumpur and go home with WUF9’s song ‘Kuala Lumpur’ etched in their hearts and minds,” said Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr Limkokwing, the Founder and President of Limkokwing University, on the inspiration behind the song.

The Limkokwing International Goodwill Ambassadors from across faculties were given the opportunity to perform the World Urban Forum theme song which was composed and produced entirely by the University.
