On 4 May 2017, Limkokwing University played host to the largest cultural celebration in Malaysia. The cultural festival is a reflection of the diversity at the University where students from over a 150 countries receive an inclusive international education committed in promoting unity, heritage and tolerance.

The fifth International Cultural Festival was supported by various renowned brands such as AXN, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Uber, The Twee, Daikin, Big Tree, Faber Castell, Baijaqianwei, Let’s Splash, Wing’s Coffee, Limkokwing Fashion Club, Makanlah, Focus Media Network, Mountain Dew, The Big Group, Red Bull, Sega Irama, Fotobox, Sky Clinic, Accentriq, Zalora, Pioneer DJ, Dahmakan, 17Gallery, Carlo Rino, Astro TV, Skymolite, and Pestle & Mortar Clothing.

Medical Director of the KL Sky Clinic Dr. Roland Victor said that being a part of the Cultural Festival is eye-opening. “This cultural festival is fantastic and it’s something we love to be part of. Creating awareness among students from around the world is exciting.”

Daikin’s Senior Manager Ooi Seng Choong said, “It’s definitely amazing to be part of this event because I can see countries from all around the world, learn about cultures and food as well as meet people from different countries.”

Since its inception in 2013, the International Cultural Festival has grown exponentially and has become one of the main pillars of Limkokwing University’s efforts towards globalising education.
