Under a provided opportunity, I became a teacher at CIA First International School after I graduated. I was teaching in the elementary campus as an ICT Teacher. During my work, I realized there are many skills I have obtained during my studies in Limkokwing University can be applied to my work contents.

Under a provided opportunity, I became a teacher at CIA First International School after I graduated. I was teaching in the elementary campus as an ICT Teacher. During my work, I realized there are many skills I have obtained during my studies in Limkokwing University can be applied to my work contents. They are not merely the professional knowledge from my major but also the personal skills.
My professional knowledge from my major (BIT) played a major role in my career as an ICT Teacher. It allows me to understand and encourage the key points of why ICT is important to my students and to be involved in the curriculum development. The presentation skill that Limkokwing University has taught me definitely becomes a handy tool during my teaching or conducting certain workshops.
I enjoyed interacting with my lecturers and classmates. They were all very open minded which allows us to be creative instead of following a rigid pattern in our studies. Lecturers do not tell you what to do but they stimulate you in what you think you should do. Occasionally, we don’t just sit in class listening to the lectures but lecturers and classmates will share their personal life experience and stories. They naturally become a part of you and you may randomly find them applicable during your daily life. We learn in a flexible way that forms a guideline leading ourselves to become a flexible person.
The people that I have known or interacted with. The connections and relationship I formed during my Limkokwing University time also becomes a platform in my career. They are like many different doors you can access that can always keep your mind opens up for new information and connect to more people.
Limkokwing University provides a flexible way in learning. What you can learn from textbooks or the professional knowledge are not the only key for you to be professional. You need to learn to be a flexible person for you to experience the world. Limkokwing has the platform to provide you the access to obtain professional knowledge and build up your personal skills at the same time.
