New students from Swaziland joined Malaysia’s University of Transformation to pursue their tertiary education on 17th Aug.
These students are recipients for the Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Dr. Lim Kok Wing’s Award of Excellence that recognised deserving students for their achievements in their home country.
The scholarship enables the students to further their studies in Malaysia under the University’s multicultural exposure that fosters creativity and innovation.
“Once we got our scholarship to study here, I was more than thrilled to come and work with people who are intelligent and just as creative as I am,” said Claudia Nkirote Zamberia who is pursuing a course in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Animation under the Faculty of Multimedia Creativity.
“Everyone was very welcoming and the smiles here made us feel at home,” she added. “It makes you experience all the richness in cultural diversity.
“Limkokwing University is the place where you can learn about creativity,” said Nsindiso Birthwell Tsabedze who is pursuing a course in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Professional Communication under the Faculty of Communication, Media & Broadcasting. “It is very diverse in terms of culture and also it is place where you can open your mind.”
He also added that the people at Limkokwing University in Malaysia are quite friendly while the country continues to develop in leaps and bounds.
“I am hoping to learn more about this cultural diversity and hoping to establish myself as a person in communication and entrepreneur to give back to my country.”
While studying in Malaysia, he hopes that Limkokwing University will be able to help him achieve his ambition that would also make his country visible.
The scholarships awards are given to students who have demonstrated leadership and excellence while achieving distinctive grades. Awarded students gain the opportunity to further their studies at Limkokwing University in Malaysia.
