Computing is changing our world, the way we work and the way we live. It is the forefront not just of technological change but of social change. The BSc (Hons) Computer Science examines the principles and technologies underpinning the systems that are driving this change and has two main aims:
- Provide students with a good understanding of the theory, principles and technologies of Computer Science.
- Equip students with the skills to apply this know-ledge and theory to a range of practical challenges.
The programme is designed to give graduates the understanding of the technical properties of hardware, software and information systems and their use in a variety of applications. They will also be given the skills to operate, maintain and administer computing equipment and information systems.
Entry Requirements
- Pass STPM/ A Level with minimum 3 principals including general studies; OR
- Pass Foundation/Pre-University/Matriculation in related field; OR
- Pass SM3 UEC with grade B in 5 subjects; OR
- Diploma in related field from any institution recognized by government; OR
- Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
Students with a recognized Diploma in related field will be given advanced standing into the Degree programme.
