Synopsis

• The course looks into the unique characteristics of traditional media such as radio and television
• A review of local and global broadcast media
• To introduce participant’s to print news writing and practices with emphasis on the ways print media have reported them
• Participants will be encouraged to achieve accuracy and objectivity regularly imposed on print practitioners
  

Outcome

• The ability to generate creative solutions and ideas
• The ability to produce effective news writing for traditional media
• Participants will be to conduct and understand news value, journalism research, interview skills and the elements that make up stories
