District Education Officers’ National Management Conference 2009

This Conference is designed to move great minds. The committee believes that this can be achieved through persons who do think not only outside the box, but dare open the pandora's box; who are genuinely intrepid and courageous risk takers, who are imaginative and enterprising dreamers, and persons who have great visions yet humble enough to share and contribute their skills and expertise for the benefit of our great nation, Malaysia and indirectly, to her children, through education. This rendezvous opens all doors and channels, challenging the 139 participants namely the district education officers from all over Malaysia (who have about 9629 schools, 260000 teachers and 5 million pupils under their wings) so very used to policies, rules and regulations; to venture, argue and consider another organizational step in creative and innovative leadership. The committee foresees discussions and workshops that will spawn create and breed ideas which will be tabled as resolution to be considered by the ministry.

Goal

The Goal of this conference is to create an intellectual avenue of discussion that is able to create an open discussion on the methods, issues and challenges faced by creative and innovative leaders to achieve the vision of the Ministry of Education.
