Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah gained the opportunity to explore Limkokwing University’s creative and innovative learning approach on 18 January.

The school visit was organised by Limkokwing University to provide school leavers with more opportunities in the creative industry. Students gained insight into the University’s multicultural and practical learning approach by emphasising industry exposure as well as global networking opportunities.

The 106 students from Sultan Alam Shah School were able to explore their creative potential and express their individual talents under the guidance of the University’s multinational education professionals.

“I think Limkokwing University is perfect for students who are into art,” said student Muhammad Afzal b. Syed Rahman Alatas after exploring Limkokwing University’s facilities.

“The facilities here suit the need of any students,” he added. “I think all of these are perfect for what every student needs to study.”

He also added that the University’s creative and innovative learning approach would enable students to develop their creativity and produce ideas that can contribute to society.

Student Muhammad Wafie bin Sarbini was impressed by the University’s numerous awards and trophies.

“I see other countries’ flags and that the University is very multicultural,” he said while adding that multiculturalism can help students like him to understand and appreciate cultures from other parts of the world.

“I feel that students will benefit from this visit, because it encourages them to open their mind,” said school teacher Nik Anita Che Hamid. “They can see the opportunities for their future careers.”

“Creativity and innovation is very important in today’s modern world,” she said.

She explained that the modern economy moves quickly and creativity is an important factor in determining success.

“When you want something different, you must be creative, especially when you want to introduce something to the public,” she added.

Limkokwing University promotes creative and innovative learning approach to enable students to be more competitive in a highly globalised industry. Students gain multicultural awareness and global networking opportunities to succeed.
