Jazan University students complete four-week creative summer camp at Limkokwing University
A total of 19 female students from Jazan University successfully completed their four-week creative summer camp at Limkokwing University.
Jazan University is located in Saudi Arabia and offers educational openings with a modern touch of updated programmes using latest educational technologies.
One month after arriving in Malaysia, all 19 female students from Jazan University celebrated their graduation from Limkokwing University’s summer camp programme, receiving certificates that remarked on how far the students had achieved in just four weeks of stay.
Hosted by International House Malaysia, this summer camp programme was specially designed to enable these female Arabian students to express themselves confidently in English by combining creative and artistic classes with English language training.
The students were taught to utilise the communication methods learned in English language classes through field visits. They were brought to visit museums and art galleries in KL and Melaka during the 4-week camp. The Arabian students also participated in design classes and were taught basic skills in the latest design software.
What impressed the students most was the multicultural atmosphere evinced on Limkokwing University’s Campus which has an international community of students from 160 nations.
This sentiment was eloquently expressed by Jazan University’s Architecture student Aswaq, who said, “I’m happy making new international friends at the University. Limkokwing University’s environment is full of energy that helps develop creativity for its students. In future, I have thought of continuing my studies at Limkokwing University majoring in design and drawings.”
