Key faculties members and programme leaders introduced students to their courses and gave students a glimpse of what they would be studying. The students were given advise on the challenges that they will face while studying in Limkokwing.  A series of talks were held that focused on easing the students’ into university life. Senior students shared their experiences and gave tips on how to stay focused in their studies. Students were also given a campus tour, visiting the various facilities the University offers.

In Limkowing, it is a tradition that at the end of orientation week, a celebration party was held to mark its conclusion. This year party was held at Limkokwing University’s Hall of Fame and the theme decided for the party was ‘Pyjama’ night, where students are encourage to attend in their most comfortable ‘nighties’. Party organising committee member Loay Ziad said, “We want to welcome the new arrivals with a big celebration. The pyjama party is aimed to give students the chance to mingle around and get acquainted with the other students, make new friends, and have fun in a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere.” Loay added that to ensure students have fun, the Pyjama Party organising committee had arranged a display of exciting activities and showcase of talents by performers, with games areas and beauty booths arranged at the side of the hall.

Emcees for the night Malaz and Loay started the fun by dancing on stage. They then introduced students Shuwern and Irene who performed ‘Breakeven’ (by The Script).  A total of eight live performances, backed by the awesome sound of DJ Saurabh from Electro Dance Music, kept the crowd on their feet throughout the night. The party which started at 8pm ended at about 11pm to roar of enthusiasm from the students.
