Gaborone – President Fetus Mogae has been awarded a doctorate of Humanity by The Limkokwing University at its first graduation ceremony in Botswana on Saturday. “I am both proud and humbled by the fact that, with this honorary doctorate, I am able to associate myself with a truly unique, as well as widely respected academic institution.

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology is spreading its wings to at least four more countries this year. The university, Malaysia’s first fully-fledged institution of higher learning to be established overseas, is setting up campuses in Maseru, Lesotho, Manhattan, New York; Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Bali Indonesia in the next 12 months.

It is important to have the right intention and the right goal if one wants to be part of the film and television industry, award-winning actress Sharifah Amani advised students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.

Sharifah Amani was in Limkokwing University of Creative Technology recently to shoot an upcoming romantic comedy drama for TV3 after her success in Emil Emilda last year. This forthcoming tele-drama is called Sindarella, in which Amani will play the lead role as Sinda.
