300 students and guests from 25 countries filled the Limkokwing One World Club in Kuala Lumpur to fulfil their sense of intrigue and curiosity of the hype that is of MAYA and at the same time experienced Indian performing arts in the form of dance first-hand.
Limkokwing University invited a leading expert in qualitative research, Prof. Richard Buttny (Ph.D, Univ. of Massachussetts) to deliver a talk on ‘Intercultural Communication, Discourse Analysis and New Perspective in Qualitative Research’. The target audience for this talk was the Limkokwing Communication Research Metholody students.
The students of Digital Film & Television, along with Film & Television students, were lucky to have Adjunct Professor Paul Loosley as their guest lecturer for six sessions. The notable Professor’s lectures commenced on 21 April and will go on until 30 June 2009.
Students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya in collaboration with CyberCare Malaysia (a non-governmental organization) organised an E-workshop for two orphanages during a visit to their home. The project involved introducing the children from two orphanage houses, Rumah Impian and Rumah Shalom, both in the Klang Valley.
Limkokwing was selected as one of the universities to join the 3rd Education Fair of Malaysian and Singaporean Private Universities and Colleges 2009 which was held at Ulaanbataar, Mongolia. The trip started on 27 April and ended on 4 May 2009.
