Limkokwing Fashion graduates were beaming with pride as their showcase drew massive attention. Hundreds of attendants, clutching their shopping bags and photography equipments, swarmed the stage as student designers sent their garments down the runway.
17 August 2009 marked Indonesia’s 64th Independence anniversary commemoration. The occasion was celebrated at Limkokwing University with games, dance performances and Indonesian cuisine, thanks to the university’s Merah Putih Club.

The event organised by Limkokwing's Anti-Drug campaign in conjunction with Events Management students and Student Services, held a series of seminars to educate students about substance abuse and drug addiction.

Limkokwing University Event Management students along with Student Services organised a series of seminars on drugs and HIV/Aids. Having worked with UNICEF in an Aids Prevention Campaign before, the University once again felt that not enough is being done to educate youth about HIV and Aids.
