Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, one of the well-known IPTS institution in this country, was proudly chosen as the winner of the Technology Business Review‘s Asean Award 2008 for Excellence in the Asean Education Management Sector.

It has been just over a year since Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi announced the country’s goal of attracting 100,000 international students by 2010 as part of its plan to become an education hub.

Limkokwing Borneo was in the limelight again recently when its students won 1st place in a graffiti competition organised by Boulevard Shopping Mall. Competing against contenders from other colleges, Limkokwing students capitalised the graffiti arena with a stunning showcase of skills and design. The graffiti competition required students to create a design on four sets of 4' 8' panels with the title; Faces of Boulevard.

Understanding the importance of pitching, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) recently organised the first-ever Super Pitch (SP) competition which saw budding filmmakers from higher learning institutes pitching ideas for the Perdana Awards, a category under the Sixth Malaysian Students Film and Video Festival (SMSFVF).
