Students of Limkokwing again displayed the culture of excellence the university college has come to be known for - this time at the 9th Malaysian Video Awards 2004. An Ran, Eugene Foo, Chee Guo Lin and Diffan Sina Norman achieved a resounding victory, bagging six medals — three golds and three bronzes.
Limkokwing has become a popular destination for further studies if the number of international students on campus is anything to go by. And among the newest batch to join the university college are seven students from Denmark. This biggest ever group from Europe at Limkokwing comprises Andreas Jespersen, Pia Herdelin, Esben Hovgaard, Signe Wiggers Pedersen, Henrik Gorm Pedersen, Bjarke Villads Jakobsen, and Hanne Kawauchi. And you bet all of them were pleased to discover there is more to Malaysia than just the Twin Towers!
The Limkokwing University College of Creative Technology is well positioned to excel, enjoying prime location in Cyberjaya and featuring a campus of world standard, said parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Datuk Dr Adham bin Baba.
Students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology obviously have a talent for creating visuals of high impact, their latest masterpiece being a 100ft long painting, probably the longest ever in Malaysia.
