
Limkokwing London put out a warm welcome for members of royalty recently with the visit of His Highness, the Tunku Bendahara of the Malaysian state of Kedah Darul Aman, Yang Teramat Mulia (YTM) Dato’ Seri Tunku Annuar Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah.
The Tunku Bendahara was accompanied by his wife, Yang Amat Berbahagia (YABhg) Toh Puan Dato’ Hajjah Nor Suzana Abdullah, and son, who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Professional Design last year and will be pursuing his MBA in Communication & Public Relations in London.
The royal family showed an enthusiastic response throughout the tour of the campus that culminated in a video presentation in the boardroom. They were presented with two videos: Limkokwing Botswana’s inaugural graduation ceremony and the ‘Globalising Malaysian Education’ video that highlights University’s initiative to spearhead Malaysia’s challenge to bridge the global knowledge divide through its innovative approach to global education.
Limkokwing London’s postgraduate programmes have been running for three years, with 50 students currently pursuing their postgraduate studies in a variety of fields including Communication & Public Relations, Finance & Banking, Human Resource Management, Multimedia Management and Software Engineering. These students come from 12 different countries, namely Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Mauritius, China, Nepal, India, Eritrea, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Mongolia and Bangladesh.
A new batch of postgraduate students will commence their studies in August and September.
