Tan Sri Lim is recognized world-wide as an innovative global educator who has revolutionized the content and delivery of education and empowered young students to be the best they can be.

The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the University′s graduation ceremony at its campus in Cyberjaya.

At the same event, Tan Sri Lim was also conferred with an Honorary Doctorate for Leadership in Global Education. Tan Sri received the double honours from a representative of the SeoKyeong University of Korea, on behalf of its chairman Dr Kim Sung Min.

Also at the graduation ceremony, Limkokwing University conferred Prof Kwon Jin Hyuk of Daewon University of Korea with an Honorary Doctorate for Innovation in Education. Prof Kwon is also President of the Korean Council for College Education.

The twin event was part of the celebration of a Korea-Malaysia partnership in Education as well as the induction of SeoKyeong University into the Limkokwing University Consortium for Executive Education. With this tie-up, a common platform has been created for the combination of Korean education and technological expertise with Limkokwing’s creative and innovative model.

A total of 440 students, from 35 countries, were graduates from Limkokwing University with degrees in Architecture, Communication, Multimedia creativity, Design Innovation, Information and Communication Technology as well as in Business and Globalisation.
