More than 150 students of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology recently participated in a short film showcase and workshop entitled “X-Posed: Cultivating a New Generation.”

The event on June 18 was held at Limkokwing One World Club on Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

It saw students display their skills in video and short documentary production.

Veteran actor and director Tan Sri Jins Shamsudin was the festival’s guest.

He was impressed with the students’ work which incorporated state-of-the-art technology and local themes.

“There are many brilliant young Malaysian filmmakers waiting to be discovered. They think outside the box yet do not forget their heritage,” he added.
