The Department of Broadcasting Services (DBS) and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology entered into a memorandum of understanding with a ground breaking scholarship worth over P600,000 offered to 4 employees of the department to further their studies in Malaysia.
A young Motswana has set up Centre for Content Creation (CCC), a highly specialised multimedia development unit and professional arm of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT). CCC is the brainchild of Kefentse Masimolole, alumni of LUCT Malaysia who studied Mass Communications and Multi-media. The company is structured into several departments: Print/Advertising, Branding, Web Development, Film & TV, and Animation to name a few. Each of the units is supported by a team that specialises in their chosen expertise.
Sabirul Islam, an award-winning United Kingdom entrepreneur, author and global speaker, graced the students and staff of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Botswana with inspirational words of encouragement recently.
Congratulations graduating young Batswana, you are the new gems of Africa, and Botswana’s ‘natural’ reserves with the power to move your beloved country to the next level of achievement, success and prosperity.
Over 3,000 Limkokwing University graduates have been asked to drive the country’s economic diversification through venturing into businesses that will create employment.
