YBhg. Dato' Sohaimi Shahadan, Chairman of Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM), paid a visit to the Limkokwing London campus recently, together with Ayu Roslan, a business development executive for Bernama’s Radio24—the only 24-hour news and talk radio station in Malaysia.
The amazing story of the founder president of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Lim Kok Wing is thoughtfully narrated in “The Man Who Designed The Future”, a book that took fourteen years in the making.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Limkokwing’s extraordinary life journey has been closely linked with the economic and social development of Malaysia. And over the past two decades his endeavours to build capacity for the developing world has contributed to empowering a new generation with knowledge and skills that sharpen the economic competitiveness of these countries.

The development of youths in the field of creativity and innovation is a cause that Limkokwing overwhelmingly supports especially the Belia Sarawak programme. This Government of Sarawak initiated project, under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Development and Urbanization, started with the launch of the Belia Logo and Programme Survey which was held at the Limkokwing Borneo Campus earlier this year leading up to the much anticipated ‘Perhimpunan Belia 2010’ held on July 23, 2010.
