What if there are one hundred countries congregating at one place, will they sing in tune with each other harmoniously? The answer is usually - hardly. But the magic happened yesterday at Limkokwing University Hall of Fame where there were one hundred unique students from countries miles away, some of the countries names you have barely heard of before, sang songs about peace.

The Limkokwing’s grand Hall of Fame was, literally, illuminated yesterday as one hundred students from different cultural and religious background; each was donned in their national costumes, sang two songs “Wings to fly” and “Heal the world” which all had been entirely composed and produced in-house by Limkokwing Sound and Music Design Academy.

“Heal the World,” making its radio debut earlier this year was produced specifically for the Limkokwing on-going peace initiative of the same name which had been launched earlier this year.

These students gave a starlight performance to delight the coming of Tun Dr M, which had received honorary doctorate of Humanity earlier that day. A capacity of nearly 3,000 people in the audience, who were lucky enough to witness, were spell-bound by the enchanting voices of the multi-cultural multi-ethnic choir.

Limkokwing has always tried best to produce and to evoke the innovative and the creativity spirit from the students who are studying in the global campuses.

Limkokwing Founder President Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing recently received the Outstanding Leadership in Human Resource Department Award from Human Resource Minister, Datuk Dr. S. Subramaniam, for his outstanding performance and brilliant effort to bridge the gap – the vast differences between the developed and developing countries.
