Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce explore business opportunities with Limkokwing in London

The Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber of Commerce (KLMCC) is considering conducting training sessions specially designed for entrepreneurs as well as leadership/ public relations and communication courses for their staff this year that can be conducted at the London campus of the Limkokwing University.

KLMCC President, Dato’ Syed Amin Aljeffri stated that he felt a sense of pride to see a Malaysian University in London especially at such a prestigious location as Piccadilly. He congratulated Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Lim Kok Wing, who is an Honorary member of KLMCC, on his foresight and achievement in setting up the University in London. He said Tan Sri’s success was testimony of how Malaysians were excelling abroad.

The delegation from KLMCC included its Vice President Datuk Haji Mohd Isahak Yusuf, Chief International Affairs & Training Mr. Tharma; Mr. Don Nazwim Don Najib; Secretary and other committee members as well as representatives from the MATRADE London office. The delegation was in London to attend a conference organized by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (Mida) and the National Trade Promotion Agency of Malaysia; Malaysia’s External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), in collaboration with UK Trade & Investment and the British Chamber of Commerce. Among guests who attended the function was YB Dato’ Mustapa Mohammad; Malaysia’s Minister of International Trade Industry.

At the London campus the members of the KLMCC delegation showed keen interest in the campus and were impressed with the new vision for education concept of Limkokwing University, its social community projects and global learning endeavours.  They were treated to Malaysian cuisine at Wings Café, a brand incubated into a business unit and owned by Limkokwing University.
