Over 200 students secured their future careers when they signed up with the Limkokwing University at this year’s biggest education event, the Star Education Fair, held at the KL Convention Center.

The crowd started pouring in even before the doors opened and the excited students took the opportunity of filling up the various booths with the intention of getting as much information as possible.

From all angles you could see the booths filling up and the Limkokwing booth became the focal point for curious and eager students who wanted to be part of the university.

“Our booth was by far the busiest and it was overwhelming. They were eager to be part of this global university and enjoy all the opportunities that would be open to them when they enroll with us.” said Thanushala Nadajaroh, a counselor.

Members from the faculty and the various departments made up of industry professionals as well as the Limkokwing alumni were also present at the fair to share their experiences and give relevant information to the students.

They were friendly, brimming with confidence and stylish hence contributing to the overall attractiveness of the university.

Chin Chun Chow an alumnus of the university said, “The Star fair response was overwhelming in a way that students actually recognized the Limkokwing booth even when the name was not stated from a far.”

He said that it was a fun and lively time because he got to interact a lot with students from various nations and their parents and it was a great first time experience for him. He hoped that next year the university would continue its winning streak and was looking forward to being part of it.

One may wonder what attracted these students and caused all the hype and this is because Limkokwing is renowned for combining the latest technology with creative thinking skills as well as motivating and stimulating students to go beyond borders. That is why they managed to register over 200 students and were expecting more.

A major hit was the new courses that are being offered at the university which include Games Art which proved to be the popular among students as it was in tune with the taste of the young people.

“Many of the students interested in gaming technology were enlightened about how they would not only have fun learning but would also have opportunities in this billion dollar industry that is not only booming in Malaysia and worldwide,” said Peter Pan, a lecturer.

Prospective students were also excited by the many options available to them at Limkokwing with courses such as Professional Communication, Digital Film and TV, Fashion Design, Animation, Marketing and Accounting, Design, Multimedia, Communications, Architecture, Business, Branding and Packaging.
