
Limkokwing University will collaborate with the National School of Business Management (NSBM), Sri Lanka to develop specialised programmes for the college.
Its President, Tan Sri Dr. Lim Kok Wing said, the collaboration will be sealed through the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the NSBM party represented by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development, Dullas Alahapperuma today.
According to him, the collaboration covers the six new programmes offered which will be using the latest, cutting-edge technology.
“The minister came here and chose Malaysia and Limkokwing to represent Asia in establishing programmes in Sri Lanka in addition to the involvement of three other international universities because the college will be upgraded into a university.
“Among the programmes that will be offered include animation, architecture, mobile computing, digital technology and business management,” he said.
Lim told the reporters after the signing of the MoU at the Limkokwing campus here today.
According to Lim, the university will also explore collaboration with the Sri Lankan government to hold training programmes for civil servants in the country.
