CYBERJAYA: A total of 416 students of Generasi Baru of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology were feted at the Hall of Fame of the university during a graduation ceremony held recently.

They were students from Felda settlements from all over the country, who received their diploma scrolls for different disciplines they had studies.

The graduating Class of 2008 consists of graduates of Diploma in Animation, Diploma in Broadcasting, Diploma in Creative Multimedia, Diploma in Digital & Interactive Art, Diploma in Digital Video, Diploma in Fashion & Apparel Design, Diploma in Hair Design, Diploma in Interior Design and Diploma in Packaging Design & Technology. The graduates were the product of the Creativity and Innovation for Felda’s New Generation’ programmes, officially launched by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in 2005.

Making the event even more meaningful was the fact that the graduation ceremony was graced by Najib, who was conferred an Honorary Doctorate (Social Transformation) by the university.

The Creativity and Innovation for Felda’s New Generation programme is the university ‘s contribution to the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
