The President said that Limkokwing will set up an international campus first in the Indian capital and later on to other parts of India and to other countries in the Indian sub-continent.
Dr Modi said Limkokwing’s philosophy of innovation in education and its global ‘family’ of campuses really appeals to his thinking as new tools of bringing knowledge and skills to young people all over the world.
“Picking up from Dr. Modi, I get the feeling that we are starting a new chapter. The University will draw students from all over the world and, therefore, should logically be more successful as well. I have no doubt that by working with Dr. Modi, we will be able to develop a strong campus in New Delhi, and move to other places in India.”
The President was referring to the Limkokwing global family through its campuses spread across Asia, Africa and Europe.
By expanding into the Indian sub-continent, the University is able to welcome students from this region to spend a semester to acquire world-class global education at its international campuses, especially in London, which provides a globalised environment.
The MoU will focus on six industry-driven programmes:
These courses are designed to boost the students’ changes of securing high income careers when they graduate as digital professionals. Eventually, Limkokwing University will introduce innovative post-graduate and PhD programmes at the Dayawati Modi Academy.
