Last Sunday, year 2009 fashion graduates from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology presented their creations at a show in Bangsar Shopping Center. The event was extremely successful, attracting a large audience to witness its fashion show entitled “Creativity in Motion”. Full of life and extremely entertaining, creativity was indeed the heart of the event; from the sculpted clothes to the creative interpretation of cat walking some of the models did down the runway!

Featuring 33 designers from 7 countries,  the fashion graduates showed a keen eye for detail in their work – incorporating draping, colour, and architectural flow to their clothes. Another common theme seen on the runway was native wear inspirations. Many designers featured traditional designs or textiles in their work.

All in all it was an informative event that allowed the general public to see that fashion is not intimidating, rather, quite fun and inspiring. It’ll be exciting to see where these talented graduate fashion designers go from here!
