As the war continues between Israel and Palestine, the people in Gaza city are suffering the consequences. In order to create awareness and lift support for world peace, Limkokwing University organized a fund raising program in its campus beginning on the 21st of March.

Entitled “Plight of the Palestinians: From Grim to Bleak”, the event had 3 key objectives – raise solidarity and anti-war support, create awareness, and raise funds for medication and food supply for war victims.

Founder and president of Limkokwing University, Tan Sri Dato Lim Kok Wing, called for the support of all leaders in resolving the Israel-Palestine war as it wiped out thousands of lives and homes. During the opening ceremony, 5 students representative from Malaysia, Holland, Lithuania and Palestine expressed their feelings and encouraged everyone to pledge support to the charity event.
