Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has been awarded the International Arch of Europe award in the Diamond Category in recognition of its commitment to quality, leadership, technology and innovation.

The presentation of the Arch of Europe for Quality Excellence and Technology award took place on February 4, 2008, at the International BID Quality Convention in Frankfurt, Germany.

The award instituted by the Business Initiative Directions (BID) based in Madrid, Spain, is presented to companies that demonstrate commitment to quality and sustainability, as well as excellence in technology, innovation and business leadership.

BID acknowledges that the dynamic and cosmopolitan Limkokwing University with 16,000 students and operating campuses in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, China, Indonesia and Botswana has become the world’s leading “new generation university.”

Limkokwing University is on a global quest to revolutionise education in a manner that will benefit the world’s next generation irrespective of gender, race, religion or status.

To achieve this goal, the university is currently engaging the hearts and minds of young people to prepare them to become the force that will change the world for the better.

The International Arch of Europe award is the latest of the growing list of awards that Limkokwing University has been receiving for its outstanding efforts in innovation education.

Previous awards include the International Gold Star Award 2006 in Paris, the Century International Quality Era Award (Platinum Category) 2007 in Geneva, and the International Quality Crown Award 2007 in London, which recognizes the University for Innovation and Globalisation of Education.
