Limkokwing University of Creative Technology today launched Magic, a book containing voices of inspiration from its students from 100 countries as they convey their hopes and dreams to the world.

Tiffanee Marie Lim, author and editor of the book says, the book was envisioned from Limkokwing students sharing their experiences in studying in a global environment journeying various cultures.

“It is inspired by the resilience of the founder-president, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing who has worked hard in transforming global education.

“Magic is a book following up the voices of support and inspiration. It is woven in spirit and self-faith in grasping the dreams and ambitions.

“On the surface, Magic cannot be touched or seen with the naked eye albeit only being able to be felt in the warmest corners of one’s heart,” said Tiffanee who is still studying at the university, at a press conference after the book launch at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) here today.

The launch of Magic, in conjunction with the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) was officially launched by the Minister of Education and Training of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Hon. Dr. Mamphono Khaketla.

Meanwhile, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing who is also the father of Tiffanee says, Magic is something that is born in the hearts of his students.

“It is about the freedom to express their desires and dreams. Without this freedom, they cannot understand themselves and subsequently unable to fulfil the dreams in life.

“At Limkokwing, our approach is different. We plan and prioritise the producing graduates that will be able to realise their aspirations,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mamphono said, the opening of the Limkokwing campus in the Kingdom of Lesotho has changed the landscape of national education which had previously been focused on the traditional classroom based methods.

“Limkokwing University has brought creative thinking and driving individuals to realising their dreams and hopes,” she said.
