Nausantara Seni Karya chooses Limkokwing University

Limkokwing University has been chosen as one of the shooting sets by Nausantara Seni Karya to film their latest telemovie “Kesempatan Dalam Kesempitan”.

According to the Production Manager, this is the second time that they have selected Limkokwing as one of its sets.

“This is the second time I chose to work at Limkokwing. The graphic, technology and the eye catching buildings give a lot of visibility to the telemovie. Plus, it is easy to work with the staff,” says Mr Zaki.

The filming will take about eight days and one day will be devoted to Limkokwing. The 90-minute comedy is about the adventures of four college friends on the run from a loan shark while at the same time, seeking fortune and wealth but learning instead many lessons in life along the way that finally manage to change them for the better.

Based on the storyline, Zaki envisioned no other place in his mind except for Limkokwing to portray the life of college students.

“I love working with Limkokwing, You can see that the surrounding is very welcoming with its mixture of cultures and everybody here is friendly despite the various races and gender. This is the exact ambiance that I want to portray in the telefilm,” he explained during the short interview.

Zaki also commented on the approach done from Limkokwing despite being the limited time available. He said it is good that the University involved the students in much of the practical such as linking them in the filming set.

“By experiencing and involving themselves with the real filming set, the students will get to know more and learn faster,” says the man who also prefers Limkokwing for its strategic location.

As for Aman Shah or more known as Am Raja Lawak, who played the character Parjo, he found Limkokwing as a lively place to study.

“This place is happening! Definitely the place that I would choose if I decided to further my studies,” commented Am whose talent was discovered from a local show, Raja Lawak.

Despite his cheerful and funny attitude, Am spoke seriously when he was asked to give some advice for those who wanted to try their luck in the filming industry.

“You’ve got to have a big interest to be in this line, yet interest alone is not enough. Work hard, don’t be shy to learn new things and most of all, bring out the best that you have,” he said, ending the interview at the One World Club, Limkokwing Cyberjaya.

“Kesempatan Dalam Kesempitan” will be aired during the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2009 on Astro Prima.
