PHNOM PENH: Now that Cambodia had transformed itself into a peaceful nation with huge economic growth potential, a Malaysian institution of higher learning, the Limkokwing University, has opened its doors to Cambodian students.

Limkokwing University is making a huge investment in Phnom Penh to address the kingdom’s need for highly skilled workers with better qualifications.

It was disclosed during a press conference that Limkokwing Cambodia had started its operations two weeks ago with an intake of 250 students from eight countries. The overseas students hail from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, the United Kingdom, Botswana, Malta and Cambodia.

The Limkokwing University is a globally recognised brand. It meets international education standards and had won numerous awards in Europe, Malaysia and the United States.

The Phnom Penh campus is offering 40 courses for the students to choose from.

The university now operates campuses in nine countries and has attracted 25,000 students from over 130 countries.
