Well done, student ambassadors!

Well done, student ambassadors!

Their presence was strongly felt as they played their role in ushering guests and dignitaries at the Royal Charity Dinner organised by the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War yesterday. They were on hand to receive the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad and his wife, Dr Siti Hasmah, as well as the King and Queen.

Beaming with pride was the Limkokwing University’s vice-president for international relations, Dato’ Hamidah Mohd Yusoff.

The cause for joy was the exemplary performance of 15 student ambassadors from the university, handpicked to receive and usher guests at the event, which was held at Merdeka Hall, Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Their composition was international. They hailed from 14 countries, including the UK, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Korea and Egypt.

It was at the invitation of the Perdana Leadership Foundation that the ambassadors had volunteered to do their bit. By all accounts, they performed remarkably well.
