‘Unity’ was the theme and united they stood as students from both the Eastern and Western parts of Yemen gathered on campus to celebrate their independence.

Over 400 Yemeni students from Limkokwing University and various other colleges and institutions around the country gathered with other international students on Limkokwing’s Cyberjaya campus for a lively and colorful celebration of Yemeni culture; showcasing Yemeni traditional dance and traditional Yemeni food recipes.

Present at the event was HE Dalal, Deputy Ambassador and Cultural Attaché Mr. Sultan Al Shaibi from the Yemen embassy who endorsed the event. In the after party, they were quoted as saying they were delighted to see such a huge gathering of Yemeni students in Limkokwing.

The event was a testimony of the vibrant international atmosphere present on campus. The university has some 5,000 students from over 80 countries to date in its Cyberjaya Campus.
