It’s one of the most honorable and pleasant moment to welcome all of you here to participate in this humble occasion to join us for the award presentation of the “Distinguished World Citizen of Peace & Humanity” to Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Lim Kok Wing.

  As we are all aware that Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Lim Kok Wing is the founder of the esteemed Lim Kok Wing University with his profound strategy and creativity that has brought the university to an eye opener level,  globally. Tan Sri is truly and amazingly has contributed to his country,  worldwide and especially to its students.

  Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Lim Kok Wing is a distinguish individual that has continuously supported with tireless efforts towards all just causes. Among them is the Palestinian just cause. His kindness in granting scholarships for the Palestinian students that has made a remarkable impression to our Palestinian people. Donations and contribution was his humble deeds to help and to show his compassion towards humanity. Above all his exclusive works and articles which aims to enlighten people as a whole towards the Palestinian struggles to regain their inalienable rights.

  Not forgetting that Tan Sri’s plans to establish a training centre in Palestine that will empower young Palestinians with the skills that they need to build successful career and a more competitive nation. The training will be conducted free-of-charge for the young Palestinians who are eager to be trained in various disciplines.

  These are only a brief acknowledgement of what Tan Sri has done for us and if we are to mention all what he has done for humanity and peace, we will never be able to complete it.
