The President of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dr Lim Kok Wing, often inspires his students with words of wisdom. Even alumni remember the many pieces of advice given.
Over the years, the mentor and educationist extraordinaire has imparted not only creative skills but also uplifting words to his students from more than 90 countries. These words still echo in the recesses of their minds, words such as:
“I can never forget Tan Sri. He is a great guy. We could talk
openly like two adults. He would pay attention to your views, even grouses. Then he would act for the benefit of his students. One piece of advice he gave was:`Life is a never
- ending process no matter how old you are’.”
Anuradha Srinnagesh Rao,
Mass Communication graduate from Bangalore
“We admire and respect him not only because of his but also
because of his tenacity and commitment to quality. He shows
tenacity in providing quality education in communicating
effectively and in promoting Malaysia locally and abroad.”
Hoda Ahmadi,
Graphic Design graduate from Iran
“After chatting with Tan Sri, my impression was he was a man of vision. He could see things in advance and he would
embark upon projects for the future. One good example
is the massive MTDC project, said to be the only one of its
kind in the world.”
Karveen Puddoo,
Graphic Design graduate from Mauritius
“Tan Sri is not a follower,no way! This man is a leader. Tan Sri
makes his own rules; he is a trend setter. The fact that he
wears black, day in and day out, although black is taboo for
most Asians, proves he is a rebel at heart.
Sajita A. Nair,
Mass Communication & Multimedia graduate from Malaysia
“All the college ambassadors consider Tan Sri a mentor. After all, he has achieved so many thing in 20 years, things I don’t
think I’d be able to accomplish in 120 years!”
