Background & Layout Artist
As a background & layout artist, you will be working on animations, TV or movie productions where you will create the positioning, perspective and composition of the 3D backgrounds for each episode. You will also determine how to compose the scene using cameras in Maya to interpret storyboard sketches and have knowledge of the animation and production process.
