Purchaser
As a purchaser, you will need to work with marketers, product developers and packaging designers to buy stock for resale in stores. Some of the tasks involved include negotiating contracts with suppliers, monitoring market changes and competitor prices and products as well as analyzing past sales patterns to forecast future demand.
