Sports Editor
As the sports editor, you will be in charge of your publication or production's sports coverage. You will decide the direction to pursue, the stories that are newsworthy and give your reporters their respective assignments. Depending on the size of your organization, you might be reporting to a managing editor who will make sure that the sports coverage fits the publication's overall direction and remains relevant to the target audience.
