Surface Designer
If you have a passion for colour and texture, you might find a good fit being a surface designer. It will be up to you to create patterns and motifs for paper, print, fabric and ceramics—basically anything with a texture. You will need an in-depth knowledge of colours as well as an understanding of the technical aspects including post-production where you will need to know how to judge the print quality of your work.
