Malaysian Institute of Directors

The Malaysian Institute of Directors (MID) and Limkokwing-MDI aim to effectively promote world-class corporate governance in Malaysia. Both parties will reinforce the international image of Corporate Malaysia by collaborating in joint capacity-building programmes designed to enhance the profile and competency of company directors in the country.

Incorporated in 1982, MID is the only national professional institute of company directors in Malaysia. An effective voice to represent the interests of its members, MID plays a vital role to create greater awareness and appreciation of the responsibilities of company directors in corporate governance and the promotion of corporate culture.

MID encourages and assists its members to enhance their professional competence, promotes business development along ethical lines and acts as a communication link with government ministries and agencies. It also organises meetings, seminars and training sessions to educate and develop its members.
